Mr Akshay Kumar Mahapatra has more than 2 decades of experience in sales and marketing in Pharmaceutical Industry, handled different varieties of innovative product portfolio like Cough & cold, antibiotics, vitamins, minerals, cardiology, critical care, infant nutrition, nephrology, oncology and many more including prescription as well as OTC products.

Currently Mr Akshay Kumar Mahapatra is working as CEO of DelCure LifeScience Ltd, DLL is a Pharmaceutical organisation offering a wide range of innovative products and unique experience to patients and health care practitioners. Mr Mahapatra has introduced key innovative transformations within DelCure which focuses on the underlying to principles of patient care, brand building, customer delightment and employee engagement. These critical changes will help DLL to secure a strong position in Indian Pharma Industry.

Mr Mahapatra has held leadership roles across many different businesses and geographies. Prior to joining DLL, Mr Mahapatra was working with Glenmark Pharmaceuticals as Vice president and cluster head of 6 different business verticals. During his tenure in Glenmark he has established two new business verticals and transformed couple of brands to 100+ Crore brands.

Mr A K Mahapatra has started his professional career as a Medical representative and grown through various ranks. He has worked in companies like Wockhardt, Anglo French, Merck and Claris LifeSciences. Mr Mahapatra believes in building winning team. His expertise lies in brand building, strategic thinking and people management. Mr Mahapatra holds a master’s degree in business administration and PGDFT in foreign trade management from World Trade Centre.

Mr Mahapatra has received many Industry awards & recognitions like Global Marketing Leaders Award for year 2015 & 2017, CIMS Brand Management Award for the year 2015, 2016 & 2017.

Jayant Kumar Bhutia

Mr J K Bhutia’s strong belief in sticking to basics is the key that has aided him through thick and thin of his career of over 40 years in the pharmaceutical industry.

Mr Bhutia holds an MSc Degree in Inorganic Chemistry and began his career as a lecturer. He entered the pharmaceutical industry with Lupin where he was the founding member.

He has launched in Lupin lifestyle division (Pharmanova), after Lupin he grew in the sales domain while working in the different therapeutic Segment like Pain management, anti-infective, Harmon’s at Winthrop and honed his marketing skills with Alkem where he launched their Bergen division with higher antibiotics.

He moved on to become the Sales & Marketing head of Unichem’s biggest division (UVA) and continued as a Sales & Marketing leader at Micro Labs all along acute division.

Along with his forte in Sales & Marketing, he has a wealth of developing of human being for higher responsibility and product management and is respected by seniors, peers and juniors alike across the pharmaceutical industry. With rich experience and unparalleled knowledge in Marketing, Mr Bhutia has built many mega brands in Pharma Industry.

After Graduating in Science from Allahabad University, Mr Piyush Kant started his career as Medical Representative, grew to the level of Director, controlling three divisions, delivering over 320 crore business with over 700 people in one of top MNC “Merck”.

He has several national and two international marketing awards under his belt, was a Member of OPPI ethics and compliance committee, eminent speaker in several national and international forums, featured in Economics Times and business Line, associated in marketing forum of Symbiosis Pune and We School Mumbai.

Accomplished in building teams, restructuring teams, building new businesses, creating new business models — all with strong operational implementation and rapid execution.

Expert in life cycle management of matured brands and delivered best new launches in IPM, created one of the most successful business model (Rural) for MNC. Also Crafted International Brand strategy for a cardiac product which was implemented in entire APAC.

Having worked in Sales and Marketing for over 33 years, Piyush Kant joined Delcure’s Winspire Division as General Manager and envisioned to make this division among one of top 3 pharmaceutical Company in Paediatric segment, almost doubled the sales in very first year of joining and moving towards 100 Crore division with his expertise to build big brands.

On this journey managed a team of 400 plus teammates and Brands like Sporlac, Nano Leo, Pubergen , Probc, Neutrus. 100plus cr per annum was the revenue managed in his last assignment. Featured Limca Book of records twice with Zydus Fortiza Team. Ashis holds 2 Master’s degree, one in Genetics and the other in Management. Scholar of IBS and PG degree holder of Two most premium institutes, Symbiosis and IIMC on International Business and Strategy-Leadership respectively. Proud life member of AIMA and alumni of IIMB, IIMC. Mentor to NSIHM & MITCON.

Associated with Delvoice as DGM Sales and Marketing with a vision of making it a 50cr Division in 3 yrs timeline and engrave a distinct image among the Orthopaedics. Year one growth delivered 45%.

Have experience of approximately 14 years plus in Pharmaceutical Industry. A wide spectrum of experience, working in various therapeutic areas like Cardiovascular, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Infectious disease, general and Gynecology.

Have successfully managed team as Marketing Manager for Team Winspire, DelCure Lifesciences Ltd & Senior Manager: Marketing for Shasun Domestic formulation new entrant in IPM and Main division during his tenure in RPG life sciences ltd.

Amit Desai
Marketing Manager, DelVoice

Mr Amit R Desai has more than 14 years of experience in pharmaceutical Industry. He holds a BSc Agri degree form Parbhani university with MBA from Welingkars.

Mr Desai’s career in the pharma industry began with Nicholas Piramal as a sales representative. In his long association he adjudged as a “champion of the year “ from CEO of the company.

In 2009 he started his career in marketing with Indoco remedies as a product executive. His tenure with Indoco was for 5 years and he was adjudged with “ Best launch of the year”2010.

In 2013 joined at DelCure Lifesciences. Currently heading the marketing operations for ortho division of DelCure. As a marketing head he defines and implements marketing strategies and handles the marketing team on a pan India basis. He is responsible for ensuring that marketing initiatives are aligned with product portfolio market strategy. He sets marketing priorities and strategic promotional direction for selective brands.

Ms Shalini Singh has rich experience in pharmaceutical marketing, with a proven history of building big brands throughout her career. Strong leadership and mentoring skills have helped her to build a strong and stable team in all her roles. She has a decade long experience in Pharmaceutical sector with leading companies like Abbott, Meyer Organics etc.

With proven skills in perceiving key business drivers in diverse market categories, identifying gaps and new avenues across the different markets, she strongly believes Hard work, Perseverance and Focus cannot be substituted for achieving success.

Currently Shalini Singh is working as Corporate Strategic and Project Head in Delcure LifeSciences.

Mr Gulab Singh Rajput is having rich experience of 13yrs in Human Resources. He pursued his bachelor’s in commerce & Post Graduation Degree in Human Resource management from Welingkar.

In his career he worked with ESP India & Transerve advisors Pvt ltd where he served more than 4yrs in each company and worked in various HR practices.

In 2014 he joined Delcure LifeSciences & currently working as Senior Manager – Human Resources. As a HR Head, he contributes best HR Practices which lead organization in advancing corporate objectives. He believes that positive culture & recognition of employees is the best way for success of an Organization. In Delcure he is recognized with “Best Excellence Award”.

Mr Rajesh Majethia- Join is a Manager Distribution & Logistic and has more than 25 years of experience in Pharma industry, accomplished MBA in supply chain management from Welingkars Institute of Management.

Started career and worked for 17 years as Distribution manager for VHB Life Sciences ltd, a company well known for vaccine supply in India.

From 2012-2017 handling Distribution of Generic Business work with MSCDA LTD,

Key excellence, identifying areas for the cost reductions. Good hands on SD module and ground level of knowledge, Team Management, Task oriented with high level of integrity & Hard worker. Expertise in Warehousing, Transportation & Debtors Management
